Indredients:
- 3 cups all purpose flour,
- 3 teaspoons rapid-rise yeast,
- 2 teaspoons sugar,
- 1 teaspoons salt,
- 1,5 cup warm water,
- 400 gr. feta cheese,
- 1 handful minced parsley,
- 1 tablespoon butter.
Preparation:
- Mix together flour, salt, sugar and yeast in a large bowl,
- Make a cavity in the centre and add water slowly and carefully while mixing with your hands,
- Knead until everything comes together to form a soft non-sticky dough (you might need to add more flour),
- Cover the dough and let it rest for 15 mins,
- In a separate bowl, crumble the cheese and mix it with minced parsley,
- Pull a clementine size piece from the dough and roll it out to the size of a plate,
- Place the cheese mixture generously on one half of the circle,
- Brush the sides with water and fold the circle in half (water will help seal),
- Melt 1 teaspoon of butter in a large skillet and place the gozleme in it,
- Cook on both sides,
- Repeat to use up the rest of the dough,
- Do not forget to melt 1 teaspoon of butter for each gozleme.
