Rice Stuffed Bell Peppers

German Potato Salad

Preparation time- 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs red potatoes
  • 5 bacon strips
  • I onion
  • One fourth cup flour
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • Half teaspoon celery seeds
  • Half teaspoon pepper
  • One fourth cups sugar
  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar
  • Three fourth cup water
  • 3 tablespoons fresh parsley minced

How to make

Place potatoes in an oven. Boil and then simmer for 25 minutes till tender. Drain and cool. Meanwhile, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp. Remove paper towels. Drain the water and reserve 4 tablespoons. Sauté Onions till tender. Stir in the flour, salt, celery seed and pepper until blended. Add sugar, vinegar and water and bring to boil over medium heat. Cook till thickened. Cut the potatoes into slices and mix with bacon. Stir gently over low flame, Sprinkle with parsley.
