Jelly Roll Cake Recipe

Ingredients
• Eggs
• Granulated sugar
• Water
• Vanilla
• All purpose flour
• Baking powder
• Salt
• Jelly or Jam
How to prepare
Heat oven to 375°F and grease the baking pan with shortening on waxed paper. In a medium bowl, beats eggs about 5 minutes until thick and lemon colored. Beat with granulated sugar, water and vanilla and then slowly add the flour, baking powder and salt until batter is smooth. Pour into pan and spread through the corners. Bake for 12- 15 minutes and then insert a toothpick and see if it comes out clean. Loosen cake from sides of pan and turn upside down and sprinkle with sugar. Remove the paper and trim of the edges and cool it till it’s cold. Unroll cake and beat jelly slightly with fork to soften, spread over the cake and roll the cake. Sprinke with powdered sugar.
