POCKET PASTRY RECIPE
Ingredients:
For the dough;
1 glass of water warm water
1 glass of water warm milk
5- 5.5 cups of flour
1 egg white
1 packet dry yeast
Half-water glass oil
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1 teaspoon salt
For between pastry:
Curly lettuce
Tomato
Cheddar cheese
Directions:
Put the granulated sugar, yeast and milk into the kneading container and mix them first. When sugar is melted add other ingredients except flour and get a smooth blend. Gradually add the required flour into the mixture. Add flour and knead for 10 minutes until you get a dough of soft consistency. Cover the dough and let it ferment for 1 hour. Knead 2 times during fermentation. Remove the pieces from the dough in tangerine size. Open it in your hand and fold it in half. Fold the pieces of pastry twice in duplicate and place them on the oven tray with a greasy paper tray. Add egg yolk on it and cook it at 190 degrees. You can put tomato, lettuce and cheddar cheese slices in between after cook.
