Tiramisu Recipe

The Tiramisu is one of the most delectable Italian dessert that is easy to make and good to eat as well.

Preparation time- 4 Hours 30 minutes

No of servings-8

Ingredients

• Egg whites
• Egg yolks separated
• Sugar
• mascarpone cheese
• freshly pulled espresso
• spiced rum
• ladyfingers
• cocoa powder

How to prepare

Whip the egg whites and the sugar together with a hand mixer for 3 minutes until the egg whites stiffen. In a separate bowl, whip the egg yolks and the remaining sugar until the egg yolks are thick and pale yellow. Add the cheese to the egg yolks and whip until combined. Fold the egg whites into the egg yolk mixture and set aside. Add the espresso and the amaretto together. Put each ladyfinger into the espresso mixture and then place on a flat dish. Once the ladyfingers have formed a layer, spread 1/2 of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers. Again arrange another set of ladyfingers on top and spread remaining cream. Cover the top of the dish with a plastic and let the tiramisu refrigerate for 4-6 hours.
